Aegis has earned the highest level of Microsoft certification. A certification with real value and meaning to our customers. To achieve ‘Gold’ level certification via Microsoft, product testing by independent laboratories as well as personnel testing in various competencies must be achieved. To our customers, it is their assurance that our products function properly and adhere to Microsoft developmental practices. - + Product Certification
To achieve Certification, the vendor’s products must pass testing by an independent lab. This testing provides our customers significant assurances. Too often, software vendors make products that ‘work’ on the current version of operating system, in a certain context. However, there are best practices that must be followed to ensure forward compatibility with operating systems. Installation programs also fall into this category and they, too, are tested.
By undergoing this Certification, Aegis products have been independently verified as taking the more expensive, sophisticated developmental path of honoring the Microsoft guidelines. In so doing, Aegis protects its customers from issues when new technologies and updates arrive in the future.
- + Personnel Competence
To achieve Certification, Microsoft provides a system of ‘points’. Points earned only through educational courses that certify specific quantities of staff members within the vendor’s organization. Aegis staff passed these certifications and for multiple years has maintained the competencies required for recertification. What does this mean to Aegis customers? It is their assurance that Aegis staff are qualified to work within their IT environment, competent to consult on IT infrastructure and can communicate effectively with their IT staff.
