Customers commonly increase ROI by utilizing integrations to communicate data between their Aegis technology and a variety of business systems. Customers may choose to utilize standard Aegis xTend API web service and file exchange interfaces or may contract Aegis to build custom integration links. The Aegis Custom Engineering Division is dedicated to defining, designing, quoting, engineering, implementing, and validating your system integration solution. Aegis has been successfully integrated with Oracle, MAX, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, and other ERP systems.

- + Automated Job Creation
The xTend job creation service provides data transfer of a job (or work order) and its corresponding detail from an external business or operational system (such as ERP) to the Aegis database allowing customers to eliminate overhead and human error in job creation.
- + Electronic Material Requisition
The xTend electronic material requisition service for repair and rework provides direct electronic requisition to an ERP or inventory management system for unplanned material issues at repair workstations. This service expedites the ordering process required by shop floor personnel and streamlines Aegis' existing e-mail based capability.
- + Incoming Material Acquisition
The xTend incoming material instances import service provides a means for the Aegis system to inherit material previously introduced into an ERP or inventory management system. This service expedites the material birthing process and eliminates the need to manually birth material into the system
- + Part Number Replication
The xTend part number replication service provides part number master data transfer from ERP/MRP data tables to the Aegis database. The service updates the part number record, including related customer and manufacturer part number detail.

The xTend defect transaction service provides detail for symptom/defect capture and repair events to external systems, most commonly for regulatory compliance.

The xTend route and part assignment service provides externally accessible detail for a given product's route, including material assignments across the route. This allows ERP to automatically configure a route based on Aegis as well as provides a station-by-station BOM for part dispersal or setup sheets.

The xTend product WIP & material consumption service provides externally accessible detail for product WIP information and the material used within the product allowing for a variety of possibilities such as automated inventory depletion and/or batching of product into finished goods.

Aegis system interfaces are built on a documented API that is maintained from version to version, ensuring forward compatibility through patches and minor releases. This layer may also be accessed by a customer’s in-house development staff.
