It means their system is not a ‘unique’ version of our software that will go down a customized path of its own. A path that will be impossible to upgrade to the new versions in the future because it is no longer compatible with the forward versions. A path that does not inherit the enhancements being engineered into the system as result of the rich input of other users. A path that is costly both in terms of money and functionality.

Every Aegis system is built upon the prior version and upgrades its data from those versions automatically. A system installed today will auto-upgrade the database from a 1998 Aegis version. Every Aegis version spreads the evolutionary upgrades that mainly result from ideas across our 1150 installations across the entire installed base. Everyone benefits, and no one is left behind with new versions.
