- + CAD-Intelligent Visual Instructions
iView delivers the rich documentation developed in iLaunch to each operator station. The visual instructions and annotations are linked to the CAD and BOM data, making them searchable and ensuring associated part information is both current and accurate.
The user interface is easy for operators to use. It provides searching for reference designators, zoom with a region indicator, first article inspection utilities, and multimedia support.
- + Process Deviation Management
When emergency changes emerge from R&D or customers, it is critical they be dispatched to production properly and immediately. This is normally a tedious and stressful task.
Aegis provides a full deviation management tool enabling engineers to ‘target’ the deviation perfectly by variables such as serial range, customer, product, work order, station, revision, etc.
They may upload an override document, ensuring all affected operator stations are instantly notified and require operator acknowledgement.
- + Corporate Document Access
iView also provides access to documents developed outside of the Aegis solutions. Documents like corporate ISO manuals, standard practice instructions in PDF format, Word and Excel documents, training videos, preventive maintenance specifications, user manuals, etc.
These documents are loaded by engineers into iLaunch, or input as a hyperlink to a corporate storage drive and then targeted either globally, by process, or down to a specific station in the plant. The one iView interface becomes your single point of access for all information operators will ever need.
- + Version Controlled Access
The documentation and routes developed in iLaunch power iView. When operators open iView, the system knows where they are located in the route, and calls up the appropriate document depending on the product present before them.
In full secure mode, operators are literally unable to access an incorrect document even if they attempted to do so.
- + Multimedia Support
iView supports video and audio embedding within the visual documentation itself. Particularly useful in complex box build applications where isometric drawings or complex multi-step processes may be difficult for operators to follow in text form.
- + AML/AVL Part Data Access
The iView interface presents operators the current part information as well as AML and AVL data when any part is clicked in the view. This eliminates errors and the time associated with searching through parts lists.
