Process Tracking & Control
Factory-Wide WIP Visibility
and Proactive Job Management
The task of determining where all work orders and units are located throughout the plant is, in reality, among the most difficult. iTrac solves this problem by digitally tracking every unit factory-wide, making this information available in real-time. iTrac processes units in batch and/or serial modes and enforces routing. Its dashboards give schedulers predictive job completion times through cells, lines, or entire routes. Active WIP tables reveal the location and status of every unit and every job factory wide.

- + Serialized & Batch Tracking
iTrac supports full serialized tracking, batch tracking, and a hybrid mode. The hybrid mode tracks batches until a nonconformance is detected and that the nonconforming units are then tracked in serial mode thereafter.
In addition, serialized WIP movement can be achieved one unit at a time, or in bulk across many units through a work center at once.
- + Route Enforcement
iTrac uses the routes designed in iLaunch to guide product movement. It enforces route sequence by blocking a unit that should not be present at a given station. It guides units out of stations and through rework loops where applicable.
It adapts to line down conditions by rerouting automatically to alternate parallel processes. It takes care of the control activities that would normally cost your company a great deal of overhead.
- + Factory-Wide Job Management
iTrac provides specific active gauges and tables for use in iMonitor dashboards. These active elements can be used by production expediters, planners, and program managers to build their own real-time monitoring dashboards of production status.
Graphical factory images may be overlaid with WIP count indicators to show job progress. Predictive gauges reveal the time of day when jobs will clear a station, line, work cell, or the entire route. Active WIP tables reveal the location and counts of every job in production.
iMonitor delivers everything those responsible for making on-time shipments need to know to satisfy their customers
- + Conveyor Control
Most Aegis customers wish to track and trace product movement through conveyorized lines. This means barcode acquisition at every point is critical to traceability and monitoring. Aegis provides PFC devices to deliver several key benefits on conveyorized lines in a non-invasive way.
By integrating with scanners and the conveyors themselves via SMEMA, these PFC devices prevent even a single unit from moving past them without a barcode being acquired. This is the only assured means of acquiring every single unit on a moving PCB line.
The PFC also gives the Aegis system control over the line movement and product flow without invasive integration to machines. By using the existing SMEMA connections between machines, iTrac can simply and reliably halt conveyor movement.
