CHRISTOPHER ASSOCIATES PARTNERS WITH AEGIS
PHILADELPHIA, PA – Aegis Industrial Software, developer of the
popular CircuitCAM computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) software,
announces an OEM agreement with Christopher Associates, Inc., regarding
their NSpec system, an AOI desktop system that automatically scans
electronics assemblies for defects. Under this agreement, CircuitCAM
will be the only CIM product that Christopher will recommend to its
customers for CAD, Gerber, and ASCII/Centroid data conversion for its
NSpec system to allow total integration into a CIM environment.
AEGIS develops CIM software for the electronics industry, capable of
optimizing every stage of PCB assembly. AEGIS’ product suite automates
the conversion of CAD and BOM data into process documentation, machine
programs, and a variety of other outputs under enterprise-wide revision
control. CircuitCAM modules represent state-of-the-art CIM technology
built completely on Microsoft development platforms and utilizing modern
Windows software technologies such as OLE, video, audio, Internet
support, and fully open data architectures.
