MVP PARTNERS WITH AEGIS
PHILADELPHIA, PA – Aegis Industrial Software, developer of the popular
CircuitCAM CIM software, announces an OEM agreement with Machine Vision
Products, a worldwide provider of automated optical inspection (AOI)
solutions for printed circuit board assembly and the leader in high
performance inspection. Under this agreement, Machine Vision Products
will offer CircuitCAM to its customers for CAD, Gerber, and
ASCII/Centroid data conversion for its latest 1820 Ultra G AOI systems
to allow for total integration into a CIM environment. CircuitCAM will
aid in the importation of this data by automatically converting it into
a usable machine format.
MVP manufactures advanced AOI systems for the electronics industry. The
1820 Ultra G offers an ultra high-precision linear granite stage, air
bearing technology, and enhanced, highly accurate metrology. It can
inspect components as small as 0201. The 1820 Ultra G brings a new
dimension of speed to the industry by increasing inspection time at a
rate of two times faster than the previous generation of inspection
equipment.
