AEGIS ANNOUNCES OEM AGREEMENT WITH OMRON
PHILADELPHIA, PA – Aegis Industrial Software, developer of the
industry benchmark CircuitCAM™ process engineering software, and FUSION
Web-Centric TransCollaborative software, announces an OEM agreement with
Omron Electronics, LLC. Under this agreement, CircuitCAM will be the
only CIM product that Omron Electronics will recommend to its customers
for CAD, Gerber, and ASCII/Centroid data conversion. Omron will offer
CircuitCAM software with its VT-WIN Printed Circuit Board Inspection
System to allow total integration into a CIM environment. The VT-WIN
System is a high speed, in-line inspection and verification system that
identifies production errors and increases overall plant efficiency.
Jim Fishburn, the General Manager of Omron Electronics Inspection
Systems said, “Our OEM agreement with Aegis Industrial Software will
reduce programming time for our customers. It is a value added solution
for the conversion of CAD, Gerber, ASCII/Centroid and other PCB design
file formats into a standard file format compatible with the Omron line
of printed circuit board inspection systems.”
