THE ALLIANCE NAMES AEGIS INDUSTRIAL SOFTWARE AS THE
PREFERRED SOFTWARE SUPPLIER
FRANKLIN, MA – The Alliance announced that it has named Aegis
Industrial Software Corporation as a preferred software provider to the
strategic partnership formed by Speedline Technologies and Assembléon in
November 2001.
Aegis will bring its expertise in advanced software solutions for total
line control and enterprise management to The Alliance customers. As a
result, the Alliance will provide a total manufacturing solution that
leverages the full potential of equipment and processes. Specifically,
the technology, provided by Aegis, will enable process control,
performance evaluation and remote diagnostics and control.

obvious, as they are experienced in developing and deploying software
solutions for factory automation applications,” stated Pierre de

Off-the-shelf software solutions from Aegis will be immediately
available to The Alliance customers. In addition, The Alliance and Aegis
will work together to develop proprietary software that can be
customized to meet specific customer requirements.
