AEGIS INTRODUCES iTRAC SOFTWARE FOR WEB-CENTRIC
PRODUCT TRACKING AND GENEALOGY
PHILADELPHIA, PA – Aegis Industrial Software Corporation
introduces iTrac software, a module of the FUSION Enterprise
Productivity Solutions that provide web-based visibility of
manufacturing information on the factory floor and beyond. iTrac
web-centric software directs and tracks product flow, collects and
recalls product genealogy data, and affords management visibility to
factory and process performance.
iTrac by Aegis uses web browsers throughout the factory to direct and
monitor flow of both batch and serialized product along routings
designed using a graphical environment. Tools for creating flow logic
provide for infinite process flexibility, as well as controlling routing
based on variable events. iTrac utilizes rich product and revision data
provided by the Aegis engineering tools to support both PCBs and nested
assemblies, while also ensuring complete revision control. In addition
to history, routing, and genealogy recall, iTrac also allows for
parametric data to be input during the process, such as tuning settings,
for recall later in the product lifecycle. The system also provides
global web-based analysis and diagnostic capabilities to assist
management in improving production performance.
