AEGIS TESTXCELL SOFTWARE OFFERS ENHANCED DFM
CAPABILITIES
PHILADELPHIA, PA – Aegis Industrial Software Corporation, the leader in
Manufacturing Information Management Systems is pleased to announce that
their powerful TestXcell software specifically developed to provide
streamlined Design for Testability (DFT) capabilities, has been expanded
to cover many Design for Manufacturability (DFM) checks.
This provides added value for all customers within one program. It is
ideal for customers who do not own a DFM application, yet still need the
benefits derived from additional checks when preparing test strategies.
This natural extension of TestXcell’s capabilities make this software
program an even more valuable tool for manufacturers.
TestXcell provides offline programming support for FPT and ICT
equipment, ICT fixture design, fixture cost estimating, cross-referenced
schematic viewing, test engineering diagnostic tools, and a pre-defined
electrical model database. Users now also benefit from integral board,
component, pad size and clearance checks, feature checks for tooling
holes, solder resist, vias and fiducials as well as many other
manufacturability checks. Plus, TestXcell produces a comprehensive
electronic report for all DFM checks, streamlining communication issues
across all "need-to-know" personnel.
