AEGIS SELECTED BY HAMILTON SUNDSTRAND FOR NPI AND MES
IN MAJOR NEW PLANT DEVELOPMENT
PHILADELPHIA, PA – Aegis Industrial Software Corporation, the leader in
Manufacturing Information Management Systems is now in the process of
helping transition four separate facilities of Hamilton-Sundstrand
Corporation into a single, high tech facility in Puerto Rico. A
spokesperson from Hamilton-Sundstrand stated that Aegis is providing all
software for NPI and complete MES requirements. He went on to state that
Aegis was selected for this major project because of their single-source
software approach to complete manufacturing solutions and their proven
willingness to be available with custom solutions throughout each step
of the process.
Gary Lutfy, Hamilton-Sundstrand Operations Program Manager, Electronic
Operations said, "What really attracted us to Aegis was the one solution
concept, where all of the activities that we want to do in the
manufacturing area integrated into one system. We're designing a
completely new factory concept and new machines around the different
types of products we build and Aegis will be the backbone for that. "
