AEGIS MOVES TO NEW EUROPEAN HEADQUARTERS
CHELTENHAM, UK 26th October 2005 Aegis Europe, a leader in
Manufacturing Information Management and Traceability systems for global
electronics assemblers, has moved its European headquarters to new
offices in Cheltenham (UK), as its European operations continue to
expand. The new headquarters for Aegis (Europe) comes with full
presentation and training facilities.
The increase in space and the prestigious building - the tallest in
Cheltenham - allows us to hold prospect, customer and industry sponsored
seminars, with product demonstration capabilities for the entire suite
of Aegis manufacturing execution system solutions. We plan to simulate
an entire factory from materials input, shop-floor materials control,
product tracking, real-time data acquisition for line monitoring with
SPC and quality data collection, repair loop and inspection data
analysis and reporting through to final integration with total
traceability and analytics, said Peter Clegg, business development
director at Aegis Europe.
Aegis is showing its new mobile demonstration facilities at
Productronica next month after which the unit will be installed in the
new offices. In the future it will be available to move around Europe
for use at customer sites and seminars.
