Larger Aegis deployments often
require customized functionality or connections to
the business systems of the customer. Customization
and integrations include functions such as
bill-of-materials transfer, material item inventory
data synchronization, depletion data backflush, WIP
record transfer, test data synchronization, and
reporting connectors.
Aegis offers customization and integration services
to help define, design, develop, and deploy
customized functionality or integration with other
business systems to further extend the Aegis
solution. This process starts with a full needs
assessment, followed by an in-depth feasibility
study. Once a project is give the go ahead by both
Aegis Engineering and the customer, the
customization or integration is designed and fully
documented. The creation of this document enlists
both Aegis Applications Engineering and Aegis
Development Engineers specialized in the area of
customization or integration.
Once the final design
is reviewed between both parties and locked down,
the development takes place. Throughout development,
Aegis Software QA conducts alpha and beta testing
internally. The customer also conducts their own
round of on-site testing prior to deployment. Aegis
Deployment Engineers are also on-hand during the
deployment of the new functionality to ensure
success.
