Aegis Selected by Variosystems to Provide Global Manufacturing Information System

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Aegis Industrial Software Corporation, the leader in Manufacturing Information Management Systems has been selected by Variosystems, Inc. to provide NPI and MES software solutions across their network of facilities, worldwide. Variosystems' goal is to convert all facilities to a paperless environment to ensure revision control not only on production data (BOMs Assembly drawings, etc) but also on actual production line processes. Aegis integrated NPI and MES software modules will automatically collect quality data to provide quicker feedback to allow improvement of all processes across the entire facility network. This will improve time to market (from CAD import to finished product) and provide improved quality and yield through a single, web-based data access system.

Alfred Langguth, Director of Operations & Development for Variosystems, Inc. said," We selected Aegis after carefully evaluating our requirements for manufacturing software and conducting extensive research on the available solutions on the market. Aegis was the best fit. An important issue for us was that the software we selected be an integrated solution from a single supplier. We liked the fact the Aegis is solely focused on the Electronics Manufacturing industry and therefore knew and understood our requirements and goals. Their multi-language support was also a key consideration, since we have facilities in the US, Switzerland and Sri Lanka."

Jason Spera, Aegis CEO, said, “We look forward to helping Variosystems join their multiple databases into a fully web-based system to create a single product, process, and quality information backbone across all their facilities. We approach all of our customer needs in the spirit of true partnership and are working with them to ensure they achieve all the goals they have set for tighter process control and streamlined new product introduction."
