Applied Technical Services (ATS), founded in 1984, manufactures a wide variety of circuit designs for the medical, energy, military and industrial control industries. ATS is currently using Aegis for pick and place program generation, paperless work instruction development, WIP control and Analytics functions.
The company now wishes to develop its Aegis relationship by migrating to FactoryLogix and exploiting its new and improved functionality. ATS expects FactoryLogix’ single NPI application to facilitate a more efficient NPI development process. During production, they will use the Aegis browser for electronic test and defect data collection and repair actions, referencing intelligent renderings of circuit board ECAD images. ECAD data will also drive revision-controlled manufacturing assembly instructions, generated within an intelligent paperless documentation environment.
ATS looks forward to continued use of Aegis’ standard chart & report templates and real-time dashboards for visibility to key performance indicators, without requiring additional product training.
FactoryLogix also brings new flexibility to WIP tracking and manufacturing execution; this will be utilized for process flow execution in the Box Build areas. Additionally, they will develop and schedule reports, emailing data to their customers as requested.
