Process Control Devices
Business Benefits of FactoryLogix Devices
Eventually your MES system needs to interact with the physical world and that means hardware is necessary. Aegis offers pre-certified devices such as scanners as well as line control devices of its own design. The benefit for customers is a successful implementation that comes from Aegis‘ experience of 1600 installations dealing with thousands of identification challenges and process control challenges.
inForce Digital Process Terminal is a turn-key operator interface, an intuitive user information center, a scanning and tracking terminal, and a multi-function bridge to FactoryLogix to physically control the process and ensure operational control. Its full color touchscreen display delivers operators useful alarm and production status information without the need for a PC. Wherever an interface to your Aegis MOS system is required, its compact, full color touchscreen console can be mounted using standardized VESA arms, under shelves, or even on a tabletop like a self-standing picture frame.
The inStock Mobile Material Management app merges the power of our FactoryLogix Logistics solution with a durable, easy-to-use Motorola MC40 Handheld Computer. With inStock, users can scan and search for stock and retrieve material on demand and at the point-of-use; no more referring back and forth to a distant terminal. Instead, inStock operators are guided through the kitting process with digital pick lists that are grouped by their destination on the factory floor, and sorted for efficient picking in the stock area. Providing stockroom personnel with instant access to the information they need saves considerable time and costly labor.
inCheck arms your assembly line setup team with instant material-related information and setup guidance. The wireless handheld mobile device includes a 3” screen that efficiently guides operators through performing feeder setup changeovers on SMT equipment, as well as informing them of the most critical components that need refilling and of moisture sensitive devices that are approaching the end of their exposure time. Eliminate reliance on paper-based reports and on constantly referring back to a computer terminal. Everything they need is literally in their hands.
