Aegis MES Sales Growth Leads to Expanded Structure in the Americas

Aegis Software today announced a structural expansion to its operations in the Americas to support the rapid increase in its large-scale MES system installations as well as scaling of the global organization. With the appointment of Brian Backenstose as the Managing Director of Aegis Americas, Aegis now has parallel management and organizational structures in each of its three divisions of the Americas, Europe and Asia. Beyond improvements to corporate scaling to meet demand, this new structure enables efficient cross-divisional engineering and customer services coordination.

As Managing Director, Brian Backenstose has operational authority over the Americas division of Aegis Operations which include North and South America.

Brian Backenstose has a long and proven record of leadership at Aegis, deep domain knowledge of our customers, and a service-focused vision that ensures our Company’s continued commitment to operational excellence.

Backenstose brings over fifteen years of experience at Aegis, having joined the company first in the Services division. He served in deployment program management, and eventually became Vice President of Services. Before being named Managing Director, he also served as Acting Operations Director of Aegis Asia to support a transition effort in that division.
